Changes to pensions tax allowances

In March 2023, the Government announced that it would be removing the LTA tax charge with effect from 6 April 2023, and abolishing the LTA altogether from 6 April 2024. These changes have now been implemented by the Government.

Defined Benefit (DB) section of the Fund closed to future accrual

Following consultation with DB employee members and the relevant trade unions Imperial Brands has decided to close the DB section of the Fund to future accrual with effect from 30 September 2023.
