Member Nominated Trustee - Nominations open

Nominations have now opened for the appointment of a new member nominated trustee to join the Trustee board. There are three MNTs on the Trustee Board – two selected from the pensioner/ deferred member category and one from the employed member category.

Ken Hill and Kirsty Green-Mann are the current MNTs from the pensioner and deferred member category. Ken, a pensioner of the Fund, was re-elected with effect from 1 March 2023. Kirsty was appointed on 1 March 2021 and is currently serving a four-year term of office, which ends on 28 February 2025. As a result, the Trustee is running a selection process for the new term of office, which would commence on 1 March 2025 and end four years later on 28 February 2029.

Kirsty, a deferred member, is eligible to re-stand for nomination and has indicated that she will. However, any pensioner or deferred member of the Imperial Tobacco Pension Fund living in the UK is also eligible to apply to be selected. Details of the role and the nomination process have been posted to pensioners and deferred members. Interested members should contact Jan Killick or Leigh Callaghan in the Pension Fund Office for a nomination form. The closing date for nominations is 13 December 2024.
